So far, we can offer up to 17 different flavors, depending on the season! Some are aromatic, floral and sweet, and taste great on cheesecakes, pastries and desserts, while others have stronger, exotic and spicy flavors, and are an excellent pairing for cheese & charcuterie boards, appetizers, meats and shrimp. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for tasting Dungeness Gourmet jams & jellies?

  1. Follow a tasting order - In order to better distinguish the flavors and get the best out of the tasting experience when trying several different flavors, we recommend you to taste them in order, from the mildest to the hottest/spiciest. The list of flavors detailed in the second question has our suggested tasting order.

  2. Pairing - The experience when tasting our jams & jellies varies depending on what you pair them with (with plain crackers only, with crackers and cheese, on desserts, on spring rolls, with meats or with shrimp). For a better initial tasting experience, our recommendation is that you have plain crackers, cream cheese and optionally goat cheese (it goes very well with spicy jams/jellies). Try first only with crackers and then with cheese, to appreciate the differences.

  3. Enjoy! - We have managed to bring you a tasting experience "in stages" with many of our flavors. (Try them and see in which ones you can taste the different flavors in stages!)
